Rami's Huskies is a company that has been organizing guided sleddog trips and safaris in the Ylläs region of Finnish Lapland since 2000. The kennel is located from 10 km to Ylläsjärvi direction Kittilä.

We provide a variety of safaris that vary in length and location. Our safaris are mainly in and around the Pallas-Ylläs national park, which offers some of the most spectacular views in the western Lapland. Our sled dogs are siberian huskies which can transport you across the snowy fells to places like the snow village of Lainio or for a visit to a reindeer farm. The longer safaris will take you into the heart of the national park.

In order to be as environmentally friendly as possible, we do not use snowmobiles on our safaris, our guides travel with you by dogsled too.

Short 3 km ride	3 km	1 hr
A 3km husky sledge trip after followed by roasted sausages and coffee at a traditional finnish hut (Kota). Price: Adults 37 €, children 25 €.
Rami Express	5 km	1½ hrs
A 5 km husky sled trip followed by grilled sausages and coffee in a traditional Finnish hut (Kota). Price: Adults 48 €, children 35 €.
10 km rally	10 km	2 hrs
A 10 km sled trip, which enters the national park, followed by roasted sausages and coffee in a traditional Finnish hut (Kota). Price: Adults 85 €, children 55 €.
Lainio Dog Sleigh Ride	16 km	3 hrs
We travel about 16 km through scenic wintery landscapes. The journey takes us into the national park, where we will stop to roast sausages and enjoy coffee by the fire before beginning the return leg of the journey. Price: Adults 107 €, children 76 €.
23 km husky safari	23 km	3½ hrs
We will travel by dogsled into the beautiful surroundings of the Pallas- Ylläs national park and enjoy nature's serenity. Half way through the trip we will stop for a small lunch by the fire (sausage, bread and a hot drink) and merry banter. Price: Adults 145 €, children 100 €.
Day safari	30 km	6 hrs
A day trip that takes us into the Pallas- Ylläs national park. During the day we will rest and dine by the fire. Group size of minimum 2 persons. In small groups it is possible to prepare freshly smoked salmon on the fire. Price: Adults 187 €, children 125 €.
Husky safari to the Snow Castle	10 or 15 km	2½ or 3 hrs
On this journey you will experience the speed of the huskies and the uniqueness of a snow village. We travel from Lainio to a snow village where we will explore a snow castle and enjoy a delicious lunch. From there we will turn our huskies back to Lainio. Price 10 km: Adults 115 €, children 85 € or 15 km: Adults 145 €, children 100 €.

Prices do not include transportation. If needed we can organize transport.

You can also try slalom skiing with a pull by two or three dogs. Own skis are required. (1km)
